A classic decorative county map from John Speed's atlas. Text on the reverse describes the county and gives a gazetteer. The map was engraved by Jodocus Hondius. It is typically illustrated with plans of Huntingdon and the cathedral city of Ely, described in a text panel, and with the arms of the Earls of Huntingdon. An attractive example of this imporatnt map.
