An attractive and detailed map of these North Wales counties, considered amongst the earliest inhabited parts of the country. Being relatively unpopulated those settlements of significance in the seventeenth century are clearly marked, as are the mountainous regions, rivers and forests. Also noted is Offa's Dyke. The map appeared in the Blaeu family atlas of England and Wales, one of the finest ever produced and is here in very good fresh original colour.
