A vigorous German depiction of the French fleet bombarding Algiers, with an inset portrait of Admiral Duperret, yet done in a strangely antique woodcut style. On the reverse is a lengthy German description of the Siege and its causes. The siege was the opening action in France taking possession of this North African state. A rare and unusual separately published broadsheet publication.
