This uncommon and detailed town plan appeared in John Stockdale's atlas of plans of various major European cities accompanying his "A geographical, historical, and political description of the empire of Germany, Holland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Prussia, Italy, Sicily, Corsica, and Sardinia: with a gazetteer of reference to the principal places in those countries". This well engraved plan has a numbered list of 44 major locations and buildings in the city and a title set in a decorated figured surround.
