A scarce re-issue by George Willdey in c.1730 of Saxton's map of these two Midland counties - Warwickshire and Leicestershire. Much revised and updated since the first 1579 publication, the map has had the addition of town plans and coats of arms in blank areas around the map, as well as roads, place names and so on in the map itself. Willdey's map appeared in his publication, "Shires of England ...".
