Scarce re-issue by Philip Lea of the Saxton map of Denbigh and Flint, much up-dated inthe interval. The main difference between the original issues and Lea's examples are the additions of town plans in blank areas of the map, and roads, extra names and other details within the maps themselves. Among the improvements made are the insertion of plans of St. Asaph, Flint and Denbigh, roads, bridges and, prominently "Clawdh Offa or Offas Ditch". It is one of a series of Saxton maps updated by Philip Lea of London. This example has a short centrefold tear repaired.
