A previously unrecorded re-issue of Magini's map of Asia, using the plate prepared for the Cologne edition of Magini's edition of Ptolemy, published by Petrus Keschedt. The plate has been lightly reworked, and a plate number inserted outside the upper border. There is a noticeable split in the original plate, evidence of it's long-life, and it is set in a page of Latin text from a general work by one Father Leon "... Studium Sapientiae Universalis ...". Jollain is proposed as the printer since his sgnature appears on the America map from the same work.
