A scarce and detailed map of Bermuda, deriving from the first major survey of the island that was carried out by Richard Norwood. Slightly smaller than the other seventeenth-century derivatives of the survey, this version and map is notable for the prominent decorative title cartouche at top centre. The map first appeared in Montanus' work "America", subsequently translated, revised and republished by John Ogilby.
