An attractive depiction of Brahe's large celestial globe from "Tychonis Brahe Astronomiae Instauratea Mechanica", published by L. Hulsius. Tycho Brahe had the globe made at considerable expense to himself in 1584 constructing the large structure in wood and creating as accurate as possible gores for the sphere.
