A rare and interesting map of the county with inset plan of Nottingham itself probably from an original survey. First appearing in atlas form in 1716, the map is well detailed with roads shown and with a panel of text describing the county's towns, market days, parliamentary representation and "... its cheif Comodities the best Liquorice, Plaster like that of Paris, Malt".
