An attractive and uncommon miniature map surrounded by vignettes of the county's landmarks including Nottingham Castle and the Church of St Mary, Southwell. Ramble added these vignettes to Miller's maps of 1821 that were originally published as part of "Miller's New Miniature Atlas ...". With the decorative views added these maps were republished from 1844 in "Reuben Ramble's Travels Through The Counties Of England" - a charming child's guide to the country. Protective margin added.
