The atlas in which the map appeared describes itself as "Consisting Of A Set Of Large County Travelling Maps, Divided Into Hundreds; With The Cities, Towns Villages, Roads, Rivers, Canals, &c. Accurately Laid DownFrom The Latest Surveys; And Containing Also The New District Divisions,Polling Places, Disfranchised And Enfranchised Boroughs, +&c. Agreeably To The Provisions Of The Reform Bill; Thereby Exhibiting on The Map Of EachCounty Both Its Present And Former State Of Parliamentary Representation."The maps were engraved by Hoare and Reeves and form a geographical recordof the recent parliamentary reforms.
