"The most complete and up-to-date map of its kind ever published" claimed the publisher on the cover. Inset plans of Cinemaland and Theatreland, together with the naming of important public buildings make this most useful for the visitor. One interesting feature is the large clear area to the north of St Paul's Cathedral which is captioned as "Approximate Area Destroyed By Enemy Action 1940-1941." Thus the map is firmly placed in an period of London history.
