A miniature Ptolemaic map of Arabia. The map was first published in the "Geographiae Universae Tum Veteris Tum Novae Absolutissimum Opus Duobus Voluminibus Distinctum" in 1596 with later reprints and editions thereafter. This example has Latin text to the verso and is page number 21. "Arabia Felix" and some towns are underlined in red ink on the map. One minor paper nick at lower right, not affecting the printed area.
