An attractive, detailed and uncommon map of Middlesex, illustrated with locally discovered antiquities together with views of Kensington and Hampton Court Palaces and the Monument. London extends only to Hyde Park and Islington while roads lead into the countryside where all the villages of the county have now been consumed in 21st century urban sprawl. This fascinating map first appeared in Herman Moll's "A New Description Of England And Wales...".
