The title banner reads "Diamond Jubilee Year 1897 ... To Commemorate The 60th Year Of Queen Victoria's Glorious Reign". The double hemisphere map on this souvenir plate is set in leeks, shamrocks, roses and thistles, shows the Empire and Dominions in red. The Royal cipher, standard and crown are all shown on the rim of the plate, along with the Union Flag.
