A companion to Gregory's Military Map, advertised in the lower border, this is a clear and detailed map showing the "Scene of the Operations of the Allied Fleets. Including the Black Sea, White Sea, Gulfs of Bothnia & Finland, The Caucasian Isthmus with plans of Cities etc. adjacent to the seat of Naval War." Folding into card covers, illustrated with a paste-on panel showing an English sailor, the Union Flag and a French soldier with tricolour, this this records in 11 details various "scenes of operations"in the early phases of the Crimean War. Apparently the author, Isaac Gregory, was a tutor at the Chorlton Hall School, Manchester. No copy found in Copac.
