Cheape Ward With Its Division Into Parishes... : J. Stow / J. Strype

John Stow's "Survey Of London" was first published in 1598-9 with subsequent editions thereafter. However, it is the fifth and sixth editions of 1720 and 1754 respectively, and the ward plans of the City of London contained therein, that are often of particular interest today. Stow's ward plans provide some of the most attractive and detailed maps of the City and its parts available to collectors today. This detailed plan includes a table of references, and features the Guildhall, King Street, Cheapside, Poultry, Mercers Hall and Grocers Hall.
