A detailed map of this popular residential area of South East London. It is notable for showing the whole of Nunhead Cemetery, which had been consecrated in 1840, half a century before the map's publication. Also shown is the New Cross station on the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway, a line that served the Sussex, Surrey from London between 1846-1922.
