A decorative county map from John Speed's atlas. Text on the reverse describes the county and gives a gazetteer. The map, engraved by Jodocus Hondius, is illustrated with two town plans, of Pembroke and St Davids, and with the arms of the Earls of Pembroke, including the lozenge of Queen Ann Boleyn.
This example has attractive hand-colour.
