This detailed and pretty engraving is of an attractive view from the undeveloped hills. Pulteney Bridge and the abbey are visible in the background. In the foreground is Camden Place, sweeping dramatically to the town centre. The scene is dated May 9th, 1841. J & F Harwood, the publishers, are based at 26 Fenchurch Street, London. The print is from Harwood's Scenery of Great Britain , 1841-2, in 2 volumes.
