An attractively coloured map with the hills and other natural features attractively shaded. John Lodge produced many maps of canals for The Gentleman's Magazine and also engraved a series of county maps for The Political Magazine and Parliamentary, Naval, Military and Literary Journal between the years 1782 and 1790. This is the 1795 edition because it lacks the imprint of the earlier edition.
