A 1693 edition of this charming map, with its hand-painted baroque cartouche and boldly outlined counties in attractive colours. A table shows the names of the hundreds and a ship is to be found in 'the British Sea'. St George's Channel is named, to the west of Devon. Blank lower margin repaired.
