A finely engraved architectural engraving of the Abbey with numerous figures in the foreground. This was engraved by James Collins for Joseph Smith's monumental work Nouveau Theatre de la Grande Bretagne (a work published between 1724-28). This print also appeared in Britannia Illustrata by D. Mortier. Bath Abbey was rebuilt four times during its history. This shows it in the eighteenth century, having been rebuilt the third time after Henry VIII's dissolution of the monasteries.
