A large poster-style map of South Africa, displaying prominently the railway system and air routes, with a very detailed map of all railway stations serving the Witwatersrand gold fields of the eastern area. There are line drawings of such features as Malcolm Campbell's Bluebird, which was raced here, and many different local animals. Iron quarries and gold and copper mines are marked. An attractive and informative map, folding up into a grey cardboard cover with printed red text and springbok logo. Slight staining and wear to edges of cover, not affecting printed surfaces or map. Slight tear at one of the map folds, but a rare survival of tourist ephemera.
