An attractive and interesting map of Middlesex, which appeared in Walker's "British Atlas", published by Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme & Co. of Paternoster Row, London. Included as information on the map is a list of election and polling places, and reference to the Hundreds and boroughs returning Members of Parliament. This interesting and detailed map shows London extending only to Hyde Park, Regents Park and Bethnal Green, just a few years before the great expansion of the suburbs and development of a "commuter" railway system.
