An attractive and uncommon French map of all Scotland with insets of the Faeroes and Shetland Isles. The country's outline is presented on a rather distorted, and unusual, projection resulting in a rather "squat" shape exaggerating width and diminishing the N-S distance. The country is divided into two main "Provinces" - Sud and Nord - which are detailed in tables at the right side giving the counties, their major towns and their geographic co-ordinates. A strong impression with some subtle outline colouring. Laid on archival paper due to paper weakness but all printed detail present - an acceptable example.
