A finely engraved copperplate map published in Amsterdam and based on that of the Englishman, John Speed. Dutch engraving was far superior to English work of the time and this map came from the house of Jan Jansson, one of the two pre-eminent map publishers of the period. The plate is copied from Blaeu. The map has attractive hand colour, and Latin text to verso.
