A decorative and very detailed map from one of the best collections of county maps ever produced. Around 1750 Emanuel Bowen and John Kitchin worked together to publish "The Large English Atlas", the most detailed maps of the counties ever presented. The maps are renowned for their large scale and copious annotations listing useful information relevant to each location, they also have attractive and informative title decorations featuring scenes of that county's environment.
