Originally issued as a folding map in boards, this example shows evidence of old folds but is a very decorative and interesting map extending from Windsor to Gravesend, and St. Albans and Epping to Epsom and Croydon. The map, with counties defined by wash colour includes recent railway lines and has about 60 vignette views of places in the London environs of interest to visitors. A fascinating and amusing cartographic combination. Backed on protective paper but a very acceptable example.
