A clearly engraved and uncommon map of the Holy land "Showing the Division thereof among the twelve Tribes of Israel". The map, engraved by Sutton Nicholls, was published in the unusual atlas "A New Sett Of Maps Both Of Antient And Present Geography ..." by Edward Wells. Each map was dedicated to Prince William, Duke of Gloucester, to whom Wells was Tutor in Oxford and, in most instances maps were paired with ancient classical cartography depicted and compared with its modern delineation.
