An attractive and interesting map by Iohannis Christoph Harenberg and published by the successors to Johann Baptist Homann's business - known appropriately as Homann's Heirs. Clearly defining the divisions of Palestine amongst the tribes, the map has a large cartouche at lower right set above a scene of the Jews encampment and with Moses two spies carrying an overlarge bunch of grapes. A secondary title, in French, runs along the top of the map. A little marginal weakness but otherwise a good example.
