A lovely example of a finely engraved miniature map of all Ireland - unusually oriented with north to the left of the page. The map has decorative title cartouche at lower left with two putti (cherubs) supporting a shield with the harp against a blue background and the title in a banner. The map was prepared for publication in James Beeverell's "Les Delices de la Grand Bretagne & de L'Irlande" a topographical work describing many of the country's finest houses and towns. This example in stunning original colour heightened with gold outlines.
