An attractive and detailed map / chart of the island of Cuba and surrounding seas including southern Florida, The Bahamas, Turks, Caicos and Jamaica. At top left is an inset detailed plan of Havana while the sea areas show sailing ships , the courses of major currents and tracks of flotillas from Cartagena and to England. Although the plate is unsigned, the fine engraving is attributed to Thomas Kitchin who produced many of the maps for the popular monthly periodical "The London Magazine" in which this plate was folded. Lower left margin reinforced otherwise a good example of a scarce map.
