A very decorative map showing the Scilly Isles, the Channel Isles, the Isle of Wight and the Isle of Man. A. E. Taylor's series first appeared in 1932 as promotional posters for Pratt's Motor Oil Company and were re-issued after their takeover by Esso at slightly reduced scale in 1936 in "Pictorial Britain and Ireland ..." Each map is covered with vignettes and small panels of text illustrating towns and landmarks along the roads.
