An attractive and scarce map of the county published first in 'Speed's Maps Epitomiz'd ....' and subsequently, after the removal of certain details from the plate, in 'England Exactly Described Or A Guide To Travellers ....' sold by Thomas Taylor and, in 1731 by Thomas Bakewell. Richard Blome's maps are not usually noted for their quality of engraving, however, this map is clearly and neatly defined with good detail and is important as one of the first of the county to show roads.
