A very decorative and detailed map of the county with a neat title cartouche illustrating trade goods, flags and a trident. Thomas Kitchin was one of the leading British map engravers of the period with maps published in periodical magazines, atlases, travel books and as separate broadsheets. Margins close but all printed detail intact, negligible ink discolouration at lower edge.
