An attractive and interesting map set on a page of text (continuing on the verso) describing the county, its history and antiquities. This little map had an unusually long life-span, being engraved and published initially by John Seller in his 'Anglia Contracta ...' and 'History of England' at the end of the seventeenth century and reissued in Francis Gross's 'Antiquities of England and Wales' published into the start of the nineteenth. Map size 120 x 150 mms on page of text c220 x 150 mms.
