A delicately engraved and detailed plan of Regency Cheltenham, published in a handbook guide to this attractive Spa destination. Prepared by one J. Tovey, surveyor of the town, engraved in Birmingham and published by S. Y. Griffith and Co at the Chronicle Office, presumably the local newspaper. The plan is dedicated with a fine coat of arms to "... the King's most Excellent Majesty". With evidence of old folds and protective margins added top and bottom where print is trimmed.
