An attractive north view of Beverston Castle, also known as Beverstone Castle or Tetbury Castle, which was constructed as a medieval stone fortress in the village of Beverston, Gloucestershire. The Buck brothers, Samuel and Nathaniel, are best known for their large format panoramas of major British cities published earlier in the eighteenth century. This fine engraving was published in the smaller format 'Antiquities, or venerable remains of above four hundred castles, monasteries, palaces etc. in England and Wales', published in London between 1726 and 1752.
