This beautifully illustrated map, oriented with north to the right, has around a hundred vignettes of notable Bath buildings dotted around the city from Prior Park House to Lansdowne Crescent and Victoria park to St.Mary's Bathwick including the station, Sion Place, Royal Crescent and all the usual suspects. With all major streets named, this is one of the most graphically interesting and clear maps of late-Victorian Bath. The map was published originally in R. E. M. Peach's Bath, Old and New: a Handy Guide and a History, published in Bath. Printed on thin paper, the map has been backed for protection to old folds and one minor tear and has attractive hand-colour.
